Daya Royal Hospital & Trauma Center Becomes the First NABH Fully Accredited Hospital in Kunnamkulam
A press meet was held on 19th December during which the hospital management proudly announced that Daya Royal Hospital & Trauma Center has achieved full NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation, becoming the first hospital in Kunnamkulam to receive this prestigious recognition.
Inaugurated on December 1, 2023, Daya Royal Hospital has rapidly evolved into a major trauma and critical care hub in the region within just two years of its inception. The hospital has played a vital role in strengthening emergency healthcare services in and around Kunnamkulam.
The hospital is equipped with advanced emergency, polytrauma, and neurosurgery facilities, including a 64-slice CT scanner, enabling rapid diagnosis and timely intervention even in the most critical situations. These capabilities have significantly contributed to saving numerous lives.
Further expanding its advanced care services, angiogram and angioplasty procedures are now available at Daya Royal Hospital through a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization (cath) lab, enhancing access to advanced cardiac care for the local population.
The management stated that the NABH accreditation of Daya Royal Hospital & Trauma Center, a major branch of Daya General Hospital, Thrissur, stands as a strong testament to the institution’s unwavering commitment to quality healthcare, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
